Education Centers “Crimea-Ukraine”: the first results of monitoring the inaugural campaign of 2016

Introductory Campaign 2016The Almenda Civic Education Center has started monitoring the inaugural campaign – 2016 for children from the temporarily occupied Crimea.

On July 1, 2016, the inaugural campaign began. For children from temporarily occupied Crimea, this year is different from last year. Along with the old system of entry into Ukrainian higher education graduates from the annexed Crimea, which operates on the basis of external or distance education and EIT, a new form has emerged. In May 2016, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine adopted a special Admission Procedure for obtaining higher and vocational education of persons residing in the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine (Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine № 560 of May 24, 2016 ). The system of obtaining documents and entering Ukrainian universities is unique even in the world practice. The new Order has been repeatedly written (” Ukrainian Certificate for Crimeans: Which Way to Choose? (Video Consultation) ” and others).

According to the proposed Procedure, 12 Crimea – Ukraine Centers were established (Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine of June 6, 2016 No. 667 “On Approval of the List of Authorized Higher Education Institutions”), which started their work on July 1, 2016.

In addition, the Advisory Campaigns “Introductory Campaign 2016” started working at the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine:

The number for calls from the territory of Crimea and temporarily out of control territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions: 050-550-54-11; 0 800 504 425.

With the launch of the Almenda CSC induction company, the monitoring of the induction company (activities of the Crimea-Ukraine Centers, MES activities, etc.) began. In the first days of July, an overview of information support for the work of Crimea-Ukraine Centers on the Internet was conducted. These days it is practically the only way to obtain information in the temporarily occupied Crimea.
